mossberg 835 is an excellent turkey gun. I have shot turkey 40yds plus and it patterns great at 40yds. I also owned a mossberg 935 and it was a great turkey shotgun. I have no doubt that most of the new turkey guns will pattern well with the right loads. I use federal heavy weight 3.5" #5s.
