I well remember the ice skating in winter, when the winters were real cold.
I think all that walking was so I could carry a tree stand into and out of the woods when I got old.
I hear ya on the when the winters were really cold. Here in Illinois it used to worth the effort to have a snowmobile back then. In the past 15 years here in So. Il, it would not have been worth the cost of the insurance to even own one all together!!
And I am thinking that I am getting close to that unmagical age of packing a stand in and out everytime I hunt.
