I've hunted turkeys since the 70s, started with only a Lynch box call...I killed turkeys then as well...Even today, I just use a box, a slate, several strykers and several mouth calls...
The real trick to calling a gobbler in is call him to an area where he wants to go and catch him when he is looking for a hen...
