and have to save the money. Of course, I've used old fashion hearing protection for nearly 40 years, before batteries, and that worked.
At my age, I throw away the offers I get for hearing aids, even more expensive. Of course, I not only used the muffs and ear plugs for loud noises, I used them for intermediate ones like lawn mowers and small power saws. I sure did baby my ears. And I stayed away from those noisy leaf blowers and used an industrial push broom.
