OK, this thread is a jinx.

I have been hunting the same land for the past 8 years. I never had a stand stolen in all that time.

Well low and behold, I read this thread on Friday and on Saturday morning walked to my " stand" and found it was gone. I was pissed but proceded to go to one of my other stands. That too was gone. Now I' m really pissed.

I make my way to one of my buddies stands, and that is gone, go to the next stand. You guessed it gone.

In total they got 5 of our stands (5 out of 8). The other three were marked with the same reflective tape as the others but they must have run out of time or were planning to come back for them. All of the stands had trails marked right to them with reflective tape. They must have found them during the day, marked them and then come back at night for them.

To say we are pissed is an understatement. I now can not leave my stand in the tree and have to put it up everytime I use it. So much for getting in nice and quietly in the morning.

Just needed to vent.
