I respect your opinion and your hunting prowess [what ever it has to do with this] and i hope you respect mine as well. With that said i think ill go make somemore bear loads!
Yes, right or wrong, we all have opinions.

Have you actually ever used or even tested bear spray? It is effective, it can be applied just as fast and accurate (or more so) as a bullet from a pistol, even in the wind.

One summer day several years ago, they were doing a use demonstration of bear spray in our West Yellowstone office parking lot. They did not fully consider the wind, and one blast from a dinky can of bear spray drifted in the open office windows and instantly drove everyone working inside out of the office.

If I knew how many grizzlies there were around Island Park and in the centennials I would not be scared, I would just wish they had an open season on them and that I was there with a grizzly tag in my pocket, my .300 Weatherby in my hands, and maybe my .44 mag on my hip -- which is what I did do for several years in NW Montana when we still had a grizzly season there.

As to my "hunting prowness", I only mentioned those hunts to show that I have spent more time in and around the West Yellowstone area than just a drive through the town on my way home from the Park.
