I have a few spots for some high country pack in wilderness hunts available. These are do it yourself style hunts where you will be packed into a fully set up wall tent camp, where you will have everything you will need during your hunt, right down to the silverware. You will be checked in on regularly and any animal harvested will be packed out from the kill site. You will be hunting a wilderness area, where there is no motorized vehicles allowed, foot traffic only. We have spots available for the 2nd and 3rd rifle seasons, which have tags available over the counter. Cost is 1400.00 plus the cost of the tag. We do require groups of 2 or more for this style hunt. No horses are left in camp. This area of Colorado has one of the best elk herds in the west and seeing animals isn't an issue, unless you aren't leaving camp.
