Blackelk, Pawildman, and Mr. Slim ... always good to hear specific results with powders etc. I've seen 4227 mentioned in many of the loading literatures, but haven't put a can on the shelf yet. Since I load for the .41 and the .357 mags maybe I should locate a can of IMR 4227. I have also seen a few loads listed with the AA #9 but even more lisitings with WW-231.

I'm looking for low-medium to low-comfortable loads with the 500 hard 210 gr hard cast bullets I have, but have 300 XTP's that I want to load fairly hot. Not screaming, but up near 1325 fps ... maybe a smidge faster.
