The bird we hunted Friday morning gobbled a handful of times on the roost and hit the ground gobbling pretty good. The hens were really mouthy. It didn't take him long to clam up. He only got hot one time about an hour or so after he was on the ground then he shut up again.

They just aren't ready. Last year at this time they were tearing it up but the warm weather had a lot to do with that.
