We just bought NightForce scopes for our AI AWM .338 Lapua dept. work rifles and we love them!!!!!! Yes, they are pricey but worth it!!! I ordered 2 in 3.5x15x50mm for the rifles and I just ordered a 5.5x22x50mm for mine this past month. Will take about 3mo to get here. Best clarity I have ever seen and the Zero Return is a great asset as well.
Just thinking outloud, why would LE need a 388LM? Isnt the average shot measured in feet and not 1500 yards? I understand precise shot placement is the utmost important factor and the AI can provide that. The 308 win can and will do that at urban ranges.
NF are great scopes but I believe they take a back seat to US Optics and Schmidt & Bender.
