What kind of tree configuration do you look for?
I wanted to see if anyone looks for a specific kind of setup or tree configuration.
For me I love finding a tree that has a "Y" config and the split is at around 18-22 feet. That way I position my stand so that I can look through the V when standing but have the back support while sitting. Put that tree near an intersection of trails and I'm set. One of my hunting partners loves a similar tree but he puts his stand in the middle of the V and usually at 25 feet. How about you?
