Illinois forum someone was talking about how if you canoe back into some of the spots at Crab you'll never see another person, even during gun season. You ever have any luck on Crab? I don't know many people who really hunted it so I'm curious how people who really hunt it do.
I hear you about keeping the tire guys happy. I hunt in Fulton County but live in Chicago. Talk about driving. Last year alone I figured out I spent 50 hours alone driving between the two!
Yeah, we have done well there. My brother drew tags awhile back to gun hunt the refuge. Did great. Only down side was he walked in on a guy carrying his climber out with his son. My brother flipped out!!!!!! My brother left his climber in the timber when he left for lunch and was going to hunt that afternoon there. The guy said it was his. My brother knew for sure that it was not. It almost got real nasty if it were not for the guys kid telling his dad that it was not worth getting hurt, arrested or worse over a stand that was not his to have. The dad looked at his kid and threw my brothers stand in the brush and told him that he hopes he is happy!!!!!!
