Darrell, do a search on past posts about the Remington 710 to get everybody' s input. There have been several in the past month. I' m a big fan of Remingtons but I don' t suggest buying the 710. A crappy trigger and cheap bolt housing are the main reasons why. Go with the Remington ADL. It' s only about $20 more than the 710, but you' ll need to buy a scope for it.
