Default Better chances of good outcome, rehab white or gonic??

Have couple of off hunting season projects. Retired and keeps me busy in the shop when I'm not fishing or in the garden.

#1 project is rebuilding a remmy 700ml. New "Hunter" bolt nose firing pin and spring, new breechplug and swap out crappy abused barrel for a NIB never been shot SS 50, got from a guy upgrading to a pacnor 45. All parts in hand so thats a go.

#2 project possibilities is rehabing a white whitetail 45 or a gonic 50. Mostly some stock refinishing. New/used open sights as they arn't there and only have bases/no rings. And finding a decent accurate load, that means sabot/bullet and conical availability and any ignition issues addressed.

SOooooo, I'm thinking the white ends up being a better candidate due to availability of ammo components w/o a hassle and well, it's a white! And if necessary can probably get any parts that need replacing etc...

What are opinions of those in the know. Thanks,
