How would Sunday hunting result in either shorter seasons or less game?
For every Sunday you get an extra day, say season X is five weeks long, then you get five extra hunting days. I would not be surprised to see the season shortned by five days. As for less game, Sunday hunting would mean more non-residents, more non-residents means more people hunting, it could possibly effect our bag limits if enough non-residents started coming to Va. ( I know I' m selfish)
No one would be required to hunt on Sundays
Like I said earlier... It doesn' t matter if I sit at home on Sundays, more hunters in the woods still when I get there on Monday or Saturday.
and a fall turkey season during the deer season again
That is the LAST thing our turkey population needs. We have had three years back to back with poor hatches. This last year was the poorest hatch in 30+ years. I along with a good many other people belive that turkey hunters are going to have a rather rough Spring in 04' & 05' .
