I Love fishing season, but with all the holiday hoopla and too much of Uncle Mike’s Special Christmas eggnog, I've forgotten how to tie a good knot. I found a couple quick knots that are easy to tie. If you think these suck, then I have also included a link to a great website with video tutorials on how to tie just about any knot known to man.

The ‘Baja Knot’ - It’s a relatively easy fishing knot you can tie. Down by the water if you don’t want to lose a hook, and the Baja provides just the right protection, no matter how big your catch. Start by making a loop roughly about two inches from the end of the line. Next, slip the hook onto the base of the line, letting it dangle freely until you finish the knot. Make a second loop and lay the end of the line across the front of the first loop. Now, make a third loop, rope it around so that it sits between the first and second loop, secure the hook with a pair of pliers and pull tight. Baja! A perfect hook knot!
