The polar hood is to thick To put a helmit over when snowmobileing. Turtle fur makes the cats meow for that. It is a lighter weight on the head part and double layered on the neck.

We had bought our little grandaughter a Polar fleese head cover when she lived in Minnisota nd had to walk a ways and wait for the school bus. She loved it. Now at 13 she wanted a new one for christmas since the old one is to small now. I couldn't find the web site for polar so got her a turtle fur. She saids it is OK but liked the polar one better. I bought two yesterday a blaze orange one for me and a purple one for her.
