Im not RMG but turkeys will roost in the same area if they havent been pressured or disturbed. If you start pressuring them while they are roosted or hunting pressure during the season will cause them to move, so thats why its important to put them to roost the night befor you go hunting so you know for shure where they are in the morning! Many factors can cause them to move roosting areas but water and food keeps them locatable.

I guess it's nice to be able to roost a bird so that you can be sitting in his dining room in the morning. I've personally never done much roosting due to my proximity to hunting areas. I've got 45min - 1hr drive no matter which way I go so I usually just hit up the places that I know hold birds.
