That can be said of most any of Colorados units. The nice thing and bad thing is that if a unit becomes popular is they sell the same number of deer tags either way, so it is not like you will see more hunters. The bad thing is that the odds go down for drawing that tag.
But to more directly answer your question. The southwest corner of the state lost a bunch of deer a couple of winters ago and have not fully recovered. So there are some big ones there, but numbers are down. In most units they have lowered the tags as well.
