Only people that are really going to benefit are the guys that live in rimfire only areas. Otherwise, it just doesn't play for me. The .17hmr was an answer to a question nobody asked, and this is just an improvement on that.

I agree with the idea, however, there is a LOT of room for new players in the rimfire world, so I'm glad it's coming and I hope it is well accepted. Heck, just think of how many 30cals all do the same thing in the field, 308, 30-06, 300wm, wsm, 30-378, savage, h&h, wby mag, etc etc. All that redundancy in a single caliber, then all we have are four rimfires?
