Deer live there every day, they learn to skirt around those dogs...Most yard dogs will run them a bit and give up, doesn't really bother the deer much...One area I use to hunt the yard dogs would actually alert me as to when the deer were moving...Whenever the wind was right they would start barking, I knew to get ready as they were up and moving...

The first eight pointer I killed this year with my flintlock was pushed to me by a couple of yard dogs...

Just gotta be in the right place...

Where I grew up they run deer with dogs, even then the deer adapt and will stay in their local area...
