I am in the same boat as you...I am horrible absolutely horrible at estimating range, but when I am shooting I absolutely feel the need to know the range at what my target is at.

With that being said I could find it reasonable to spend twice as much on a GOOD range finder (RF) that can be used as bino's as well rather then spending half that on binos and the other half on a RF. I'm the type of guy that likes to carry less and not have five things to shuffle through before taking my shot.

I don't know much about RF's, but do they make any out there that will compare in optics with that of your desirable Bino's?
