I think the best way to go about finding a hunting place is...SCOUT!! Find out where the birds are going. If you have a wildlife refuge near you, it might help. I hunt a marsh very near to a refuge, and if birds are determined not to land anywhere but in the refuge, i still get a few shots at birds going in and out of the refuge.
