When I was in the military I would put them in the oven until they got nice and toasty. Then I would take a papper towel and apply the seal, it would melt right into the leather. A hair drier will work also, just make sure the material is worm enough to melt the sno-seal. That way it penetrates the boot better
This is an excellent method. The following is just to prevent readers from making the same mistake I have

. A good rule of thumb when heating leather in an oven, with a hair dryer, by a fire, etc is never heat it any warmer than your skin can tolerate. That way you won' t dry, crack or shrivel it. [X(] - zeke
