I have a Mossberg 500A with a rifles slug barrel on it in 12g...and an older Remington Wingmaster in 20g that I also have a rifled slug barrel for from my days living in shotgun only hunting area (thank goodness I got away from that stupidity)...anyway, personally I think 20g out-performed the 12g (mainly because of recoil)...both guns shot well and are accurate. That being said, I have heard great things about the Savage 220.
