Finally got some bone on the ground this morning. Got in the stand just before light and planned on sitting all day but i only needed about 45 minutes lol. Right at sunrise i let out a few tending grunts and about 5 minutes later this buck came into 27 yards, grunting with every step and looking for a fight lol. I held high with my 20 yard pin and let her rip. arrow hit low in the chest but just perfectly behind the shoulder. Took out the heart and bottom of both lungs, he only made it 34 yards before he met his maker. This is the biggest whitetail i have ever got with my bow so i am pretty stoked.
