I wish EVERYONE nothing but the best and continued success with their zuki, saki, yammie, cat, polaris whatevers but let me assure you my 1998 (I bought it new fall of 97) Honda 300 4x4 will STILL be wading my swamp when all of these newest, IRS, Fuel-injected, automatic trans, giant wheels, umpteen thousand cc engine, $10k quads have long since gave up the ghost!!!
Lastyear I bought my sons 2 new Honda Recon's and after changing the rear tires to Mud-Lites they will nearly go anywhere my Mud-Lite equiped 300 will go. ("Nearly"
) And history proves the 250cc Honda atc is the original "bulletproof atc" which gave us the 300s and larger a few years later.
Were it not for Honda, I reckon I'd have a Yammie. Their 250-400cc sized machines are pretty good as well. I personally see NO sense in needing a 4 wheeler over 450-500cc! If the jobs THAT big then I'm leavin the Honda under the shed and either gettin out my 1980 Chevy 4x4 or my 70hp 4x4 Kubota.
