I have a cheap pair of binoculars and I've been thinking of getting a new/better pair. But I also want a rangefinder since I don't have one. Anyone ever use just a rangefinder for both ranging and viewing and just ditch the binocs since most rangefinders are already 6x or 7x? If so are there any decent ones where you could basically just forget about using binocs and what is your thoughts on using just a rangefinder instead of binocs.. I'd like to keep the price under 250 but can stretch it out some if needed.
