I use the 300 grain XTP, while my hunting partner uses the 240. We have had very similar experiences on deer with both bullets. Very accurate, with golf ball-sized exit wounds every time. Even the entrance wounds are huge. No deer from either one of us has run more than thirty yards, with most dropping on the spot. We are both very happy with the XTPs and won' t change what works.
