Since 2008 Outdoor Underwriters has been exceeding expectations and developing new insurance products for the forest industry. We specialize in insuring hunters & hunt clubs as well as many aspects of the forestry and timber industries. We have partnered with many state and national associations to offer unique coverages and affordable insurance options.
Our team knows the insurance ropes, yet loves the woods giving us an edge over the competition. Our expertise stems from years of forestry, hunting and insurance experience. Ed Wilson, Phd. -Vice President of Outdoor Underwriters and Tom Skaggs - Account Executive, are both avid outdoorsmen as well as having more than 50 years of combined forestry experience under their belts. They have worked hard to develop insurance programs specific to the real life needs of hunters & landowners.
