In the $200 range, look at the Leupold, Vortex and Bushnell Elite lines. Of these 3, I have no first hand experience with Vortex, but guys I hunt with bought Vortex scopes in this price range last fall and like them a lot.

To get into the "best" scopes, you'll have to come off of about 6X to 8X that many $$$.
