I,m surrounded by oaks. Several years here with different crops.
Seen a half dozen immature a month ago.
Pollination and weather at time,also timing of frosts in spring a factor.
Some even with ideal conditions don,t produce every year.
Its great you have a good crop to help game get some for winter prep!.
