For all of you Junior or more Novice hunters in the state of Michigan. As of this week according to 6 different trail cams on different properties we are going through what is known as the October Lull. This is when all the bigger bucks 2 1/2 and older bed with does and wait for the first ones to go into estrus. This is why a lot of you including myself will see very few deer and the ones we do see are young does, button bucks 1 1/2ers. In other words small 6 points and smaller.

Keep vigilant keep working hard on getting that trophy the rut is right around the corner for us. should be hot starting the 28th to the 18th of november.
