I've noticed deer even picking off black flash cameras. What he's saying is it's not the flash that they see, it's the camera box itself protruding from the camera that sets them off. Has anyone tried putting their cameras higher like this and has it worked?

My deer could care a less about my camera placement.
Flash or IR they love to get their picture taken.
I put them about waist high or lower.
