i am looking for a scope for my F.N. mauser chambered in 35whelen. i have ppe sights instaled on it but cannot seem to get it to hit paper at 50yds and 75yds and 100yds.
so after looking at my fathers 308win avage " scout " rifle. his VX-II when bring up to my shoulder is right there like stubblejumper has talked about being quick as a peep sight.
this gun will be used in the swamps and in other hunting done on the ground, where shots can get from 25yds out to 150yds. do you think i should go with a low powered scope like a 1.5-5 or maybe a fixed 4X ?
