Deer can and will move in the rain, but usually they tend to become more inactive than active. I' ve found that if you get a break in the rain, you' ll probably see the deer as they start to move to feed. That' s when you want to be in the stand, like Punt said, if it' s well placed because that' s when you' ll probably have the best chance of seeing anything.

If it' s supposed to rain all day, well...I prefer stand hunting anyhow. Never much liked to stalk.
