You're right about those 180 grain Gold Dots. They shoot quite well in my .45 GM-LRH Renegade with a modest charge of GOEX. I've not shot a deer with them yet, but have not doubt they would do the deed. It will probably be the first bullet I try in the Swamp Dragon when I get that 22" .45 Knight Disc barrel set up for it.
