You did say it shot good groups after the first shot. That was the important part of your first post. I've had some CVA's shoot that high on the first shot. My latest is only an 1" off fouled shots.

I've always ignored the first shot. Even on CF guns. We're lucky that BH 209 came out. I could never leave the bore dirty with any other sub, or especially BP.
