Canuck_2 checking in; glad to be with you all. I'm in western Canada - about half way across British Columbia right on the WA state border. I'll be shooting my 2003 Hoyt Razortec, which I like better than anything I've shot before or since.
Our season actually started Sept 1 and I've been out briefly on 3 mornings. A couple days ago I had a spike nice and close broadside but let him pass as we have only a 1-buck limit (with a few complicated exceptions). Haven't done much scouting this year but my favorite areas have the usual nice array of deer. Been too busy contending with the house, as we were clobbered in July by a freak wind storm that did a lot of damage. Have a new roof on now and the interior problems are finally being addressed.
Our season lasts until well into December and the rut is always my favorite time. Before that I'll be away a couple times, including a trip to an archery tournament in St. George Utah. But no worries - I'll have lots of time in the woods.
