Maine actually hunts their bears. For a bear to get that big with far more being shot is pretty amazing. That boy avoided a lot of hunters as he raided all those donut barrels
He was probably 100% nocturnal until he got greedy that day.
This is a very true statement BarnesX and if you look around in that section of the paper you will see that this is turning out to a banner year of large bears. They are guessing that with the heat this summer and a lack of food crop that the bears are packing on the wieght earlier than normal. This is leading the biologists up here to believe that they will be hybernating early this year.
