I took my 12 year old son to a required hunters safety education course in Indiana 2 weeks ago. One of the instructors said to about 100 of us, " If you shake when you see a deer, you ain' t ready to be in the woods with a weapon." What a joke!!! This guy liked to hear himself talk and made a fool of himself all day long. It inspired me to see what it takes to become a certified instructor and, if all goes well, next fall I' ll have an opportunity to explain to those who have not yet hunted that those shakes are the single most reason many of us chose to hunt.

We all should look at helping in some way to teach our children and those who are not familiar with the joys of shooting and hunting, safely.
