I' ll second the Limbskins from ABS. I had a very short stint of bowhunting w/a metal handled/glossy limbed ' target style' recurve & found them very handy. While not overly expensive (around $15 if memory serves), they' re solidly constructed of a spandex type material w/several different camo patterns to choose from. They' re very light wt. (don' t noticeably affect bow performance) & should last a very long time under even the most rigorous conditions.
