Opening day turned out to be hot and nasty, nuthin movin but lil bucks and does and babies and real late, almost 95 degrees. The next mornin I climb back into the same stand and at 6:27 I looked out to see this monster leadin the group of bucks right twards me. I stopped him at 31 yards and took the shot, he took a step to me and I hit him a bit forward. He ran about 15 yds and stopped, blood shootin out and he falls, gets back up takes a step and falls dead. The worst part was I jumped him down in the swamp and he still was full velvet.
