You can get the Nikon Omega with or without the BDC. I picked the without. Where I hunt that just is not necessary. In fact the Cabela's Powderhorn scopes have a BDC and I am tempted to sight in the cross hair at 50 yards and then see where the rest of them hit. Only because 50 yards is a long shot in my woods.
Well I went over to Cabala's and looked up the Powderhorn scope. They had them for $49.99 on sale. They had them for an original price of $119.00 and I got weak and ordered one. I also needed some bullets and placed an order. Will get it and check it out.
I really didn't want to put an expensive scope on a backup rifle. Now I have a chance to scope int two rifle now and some more fun! I like that.
Thanks Dave for the help. Now to work on a good bullet for the new rifle. This will be fun. I changed my mind and will go to the range in the am and shoot the new rifle. I told you I was weak!!!
PS: I always sight my ML rifles in at 50 yds, but with a one inch over hold. This would give me a good hold from 50 yds. to 75 yds. That is just great for here in the thick woods of Va.
