I loved mine but monkey man is right. You need to have a little speed behind them. and what ever you do stay away from the three blade version! they are absolute garbage! in my personal opinion all mechanical three blade broad heads are horrible, but i haven't tried them all so take that for what its worth.

I shot the 2 blade blood runners for two years and loved them. huge blood trails and very tough if you hit shoulder or something else hard.
