Exactly my point - people open their mouth based on one experience. Ron, your example of a rifle (whatever the make or model) from 20, 15, or even 5 years ago does not hold any water today). Company policies change. A prime example is Taurus. Yes 20 years ago they were complete junk. Today they are a good quality reliable handgun. I'm not saying that a CVA Accura is the best thing since sliced bread because I haven't shot one yet. I did own an Optima Pro several years ago and I did like it. So that also helped with my decision. Same goes for the Triumph. I picked the model based on threads in here and from reviews form various online sources. Based on compiling all that information I deduced that the Accura is a better choice. Time will tell as I am not able to try it out yet. And I am not offended by the fact that I did purchase a CVA over an American made T/C. No one is more patriotic than I am. And I will fight that fact tooth and nail. But to say I am a hypocrite (no one used that word) because I did not buy American is absurd. I work for my money and scrimp and save to get enough to buy what I think is the best value for the cost and in this case I determined that it is the Accura. Wrong or right - it was my choice and you nor anyone else need to jump all over me because of it.
Saying a CVA or any other brand name is junk borders on idiotic. You get good and bad product in every line. Some more than others. If you bought a new Ford or Chevy or any other vehicle and it broke down on the way home would you say that they are all junk? Oh, wait you can't add Chevy into the mix because 7 out of 10 chevys sold are made outside the country.
