No problem with 150yds. More like 100yds for me as max. Closer is the goal. I like to hear them breathing.
Ya I did and yes it is... but back in the younger days the centerfire rifles I bought were far from cheap also and in these days I hunt all year with a ML - might as well have one of the better guns.
I believe most of the increase from the regular Knight is in the extrea machining GM has to do on the barreled action, tighter tolerances and the cost of the lightweigt stock and the aliminum bedding incorporated in the stock.
The other thing if I would just wait a few months I could get it cheaper from a mail order place than getting it from Knight. Knight holds their price up so distributors can charge less and still make money...
