Are musket caps the same size as #11 caps?

I asked Dixie Gun Works what the max was and the reply was 50 grns, which certainly didn't sound right at all. My ROA can come close to that w/o a wad using a RB I'd guess. 40 grns fits w a wad and leaving a slight amount of space between the ball and mouth.
