You are exactly right, that would be alot of work. What I did was strap my 150qt cooler and one of my wife's totes to my atv and rode that back in there. Between the two I had just enough water. My wife bought me that atv two years ago, it's a Polaris 700, and you can bet I was blessing her name the whole time I was doing that.
