Mule deer question...
With elevation being absolutely the same in all 3 areas I have to chose from...and there being no agriculture within 30 miles of the land you are hunting...
Where would be the best starting point to find mulies LATE season..december to be exact. Its towards the end of the rut if not post rut by that time....
Riding around is not much of an option so you must walk...And this is public land that has been hammered..
The 3 terrain choices are Open rolling hills with knee high grass at best,Semi open hills lightly sprinkled with soapweed and red cedars,or fully timbered with ponderosa pine. Also How would snow alter your game plan as well.
Thanks in advance!!!!!
